Discover the EcoComposites Cluster at JEC World 2026
The EcoComposites Cluster will bring together several European research and innovation projects at JEC World 2026 to showcase advances in sustainable, lightweight, and circular composite materials. Through expert talks, demonstrator tours, and networking opportunities, visitors will be able to explore new technologies shaping the future of the composites sector.
Expert Sessions on Sustainable Composites
The EcoComposites Cluster will also contribute to the official programme of JEC World 2026 with two expert sessions dedicated to sustainable composite technologies and circular material strategies. These presentations will highlight recent progress from European research projects working on lightweight structures, recyclable materials, and next-generation composite solutions for transport and industrial applications.
The first session, “Lightweight and sustainable composite parts for transport applications,” will take place on Tuesday, 10 March 2026 (11:30–11:50).
The second session, “Recycling and circularity strategies for next-generation composite materials,” will be held on Thursday, 12 March 2026 (11:30–11:50).
Both sessions will take place at Hall 6 – Research & Innovation Projects, Open Stage, and will be open to all JEC World 2026 visitors. Together, they will provide valuable insights into how European research initiatives are supporting the transition toward more sustainable and circular composite materials.
YOUR GUIDED TOUR ON SUSTAINABLE COMPOSITES
In addition to the speaking sessions, the EcoComposites Cluster is organising a guided tour, cocktail reception, and 1-to-1 meetings to introduce visitors to demonstrators and results from several European projects working on sustainable and bio-based composite solutions
