ECOCOMPOSITES Cluster: REPOXYBLE at NanoInnovation 2025
On 18 September 2025, the NanoInnovation Conference and Exhibition in Rome will host the workshop “High-performance multifunctional materials in aerospace, automotive and energy”, co-organized by FOREST’s sister project REPOXYBLE, part of the ECOCOMPOSITES Cluster, together with its partner Airi and ENEA.
The session will examine how advanced composites and additive manufacturing are driving innovation in high-demand sectors such as aerospace, automotive and energy, with a focus on lightweight, multifunctional and recyclable composites. Participants will also gain insight into new material concepts, case studies, and the role of intellectual property rights (IPR) in strengthening public–private collaboration.
The session is divided into two parts:
Part I (11:30–13:00) will feature REPOXYBLE partners DAC, AVANZARE, ONYRIQ and GURIT, presenting case studies on recyclable composites and addressing the importance of IPR management for effective public–private cooperation.
Part II (14:00–15:30) will turn to additive manufacturing, with speakers from research and industry showcasing applications of advanced polymers, alloys and innovative 3D printing processes.
The workshop will take place in Rome with the possibility to join online. Participation in NanoInnovation 2025 is free of charge but requires mandatory registration, also for online attendees. Registration is open until 12 September. Please note that the session will not be recorded.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the state-of-the-art in sustainable composites and additive manufacturing, to understand how innovation meets industrial needs, and to connect with experts from both research and industry. As members of the ECOCOMPOSITES cluster, we are proud to see our sister project REPOXYBLE leading this discussion on the future of high-performance, recyclable materials.
