FOREST at JEC World 2026

The FOREST project will take part in JEC World 2026, the leading global event dedicated to composite materials and their applications, held in Paris. As a key meeting point for industry, research, and innovation stakeholders, JEC World 2026 provides an important platform for FOREST to present its latest developments in sustainable composites for transport applications.

FOREST will contribute to the event with two dedicated technical sessions taking place on Tuesday, 10 March, and Thursday, 12 March 2026, both starting at 10:00. These sessions are open to all JEC World visitors and will focus on how the project is pushing the boundaries of sustainable composite solutions. Topics will include lightweight hybrid pultrudates and bio-based benzoxazine materials, with a particular emphasis on their potential for next-generation electromobility and circular transport systems.

The sessions will be delivered by expert speakers Fernando Ramos, PhD, from AIMPLAS, and Jan-Marten Sprenger from Fraunhofer IFAM. Drawing on their extensive experience, the speakers will present FOREST’s technical progress and discuss how innovative material concepts can contribute to lighter, more resource-efficient, and environmentally responsible transport solutions.

In addition to the FOREST presentations, the EcoComposites Cluster will also be present at JEC World 2026, highlighting the broader collaboration between EU-funded projects working on sustainable composite materials.

Visitors to JEC World 2026 are warmly invited to attend the FOREST sessions and engage directly with the project team. The event offers an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, explore synergies, and discuss how circular composite materials are shaping a lighter and greener future for transport.

More information on FOREST’s dedicated sessions and related activities at JEC World 2026 will be shared soon!
