FOREST represented at the 13th Conference of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation in Spain

On 16 June 2026, FOREST was represented at the 13th Conference of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation in Spain, held in Barcelona under the motto “Between Two Programmes, Horizon Europe”. Organised by CDTI in collaboration with the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the European Commission and ACCIÓ, the conference brought together representatives from European and national institutions, research organisations and innovative companies to discuss the latest developments in Horizon Europe, the final years of the current programme, and preparations for the next EU Framework Programme.

FOREST was represented at the event by Itziar Carracedo from AIMPLAS, who had the opportunity to introduce the project and share its objectives, activities and achievements with key institutional representatives, including representatives from CDTI, the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and the Government of Catalonia.

The event provided a valuable platform to showcase FOREST and highlight its contribution to European collaborative research and innovation among key stakeholders from the European research and innovation community.

Although the FORESTproject has now concluded, opportunities such as this help ensure that its knowledge, results and achievements continue to reach relevant audiences and contribute to future European research and innovation initiatives.
