2nd Period Review Meeting in Cologne
On 21–22 May 2025, the FOREST project consortium came together in Cologne, Germany, for a review meeting, marking the end of the second project period. Hosted by our partner Clariant, the meeting provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on progress and receive constructive feedback on our R&D activities.
We were honoured by the participation of our external technical Project Officer, Esther Barrutia, whose in-person presence brought a strong sense of engagement and appreciation for the project team’s dedication. The consortium presented updates on scientific and technical advancements made throughout the second period. The two-day meeting ended with a comprehensive site tour of Clariant’s facilities, offering insight into their R&D and production capacities aligned with FOREST objectives.
The second day focused on demonstrators and in-depth technical discussions, paving the way for refining our solutions and identifying new exploitation avenues. The meeting also promoted included the development of new strategies and initiatives to support women in science, further affirming our commitment to inclusivity and impact.
